Si estas laborando o vas a laborar en cualquier empresa donde se manipulen alimentos es imprescindible La formación de Manipulador de Alimentos y su adecuada certificación y carnet es de carácter obligatorio en toda la Unión Europea para los trabajadores de la hostelería o de cualquier otro sector alimenticio.
Según la definición establecida por la Ley, establecida en el Real Decreto Ley 202/2000, al Real Decreto 109/2010 y al reglamento europeo CE 852/2004 un manipulador de alimentos es ‘aquella persona que por su actividad laboral tiene contacto directo con los alimentos durante su preparación, fabricación, transformación, elaboración, envasado, almacenamiento, transporte, distribución, venta, suministro y servicio ‘.
Por lo tanto, todo trabajador que encuadre con dicha representación descrita debe tener un Certificado de Manipulación de Alimentos que le consienta practicar su labor de acuerdo a la legalidad actual.
Este título consiente a una persona a manejar alimentos de manera segura, tanto para él como para los individuos que la consumen. La ley les exige recibir dicho curso de manipulación de alimentos, bien sea impartida por la empresa para la que trabajan o por academias de formación privadas u organismos públicas.
¿Para qué sirve el Carnet de Manipulador de alimentos?
Todo aquel que quiera dedicarse profesionalmente donde se tenga que operar alimentos, deben contar con su oportuno certificado.
El objetivo es impedir la contaminación y posibles enfermedades en el caso de que el alimento no se maneje cabalmente.
Las normativas de seguridad que se deben alcanzar están recogidas en los talleres para adquirir el certificado de manipulador de alimentos. Una vez se haya cumplido el curso, en cualquiera de sus distintos formatos, es necesario cumplir con un examen evaluativo para conseguir el carnet correspondiente.
Este documento sirve para indicar ante las Autoridades Sanitarias que se ha recibido la formación requerida para la manipulación debida de alimentos. Por lo tanto, confirma que se ha aplicado el curso de manipulador de alimentos.

La respuesta rápida es si, y es porque debes adquirir una serie de conocimientos que posibiliten la manipulación de los alimentos de la manera más higiénica posible para evitar contaminación y posibles enfermedades al público.

Los Ayuntamientos son los cuerpos públicos que establecen más cursos de manipulador de alimentos en España. En la generalidad de casos, los Ayuntamientos promueven estos cursos y encomiendan el dictado de los mismos y su certificación a empresas terceras. Esto quiere decir que los carnets de manipulador de alimentos son presentados por compañías de formación privadas y autorizadas para
tipo de aprendizaje se vaya aplicando más que el presencial: libertad de horarios, costos menores a los cursos presenciales, posibilidad de ir a tu ritmo.

Esta manera no solo brinda un procedimiento mucho más económica, rápida y cómoda, sino que también ofrece una acreditación acorde con la legislación actual.
